Investec has grown significantly over the past few years, making additional office space essential. The second phase of the Sandton office was completed in November 2008. Investec Property Group were the developers and appointed the original professional team to ensure the successful integration of the two buildings.

The second phase of Investec Sandton offices, situated on the corner of Rivonia road and Grayston drive, added 23 000m² premium grade office space to Investecs head office. The new building is connected to the existing building with a link connection comprising of escalators for easy access. Each floor has a roof garden with indigenous plants and other green initiatives such as motion-sensor lighting and energy-efficient bulbs have been utilised.

The building utlises a York chilled water system fed to various chilled water ar handling units throughout the building with an advanced state of the art building management system.
